Budapest to Bamako Great African Rally
Automotive Engineering Northampton are pleased to be a major sponsor of Team -Tc - Rally, who are competing in the 2012 Budapest to Bamako great African Rally.
The rally is a minimal assistance orientation race through central and southern Europe down to Africa and Automotive Engineeering has been preparing the van for its 6,000 miles journey across some of the poorest maintained roads in South Africa.
The purpose of the Rally is to raise funds for charities in Africa and some that are local to Northampton. The main charity is “SOS Children’s Villages Africa” and the Team will visit several villages in Africa, distributing donated supplies such as basic medicines, books, toys and rucksacks.
We wish all of the team the best of luck and a safe return and will be monitoring the team’s progression throughout the race.
